Terms of Service

The rules for accessing and operating NexusBarter.

Using NexusBarter

You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use the platform only for lawful business purposes. Access belongs to the person and organization to which it was granted and may not be shared.

Organization responsibilities

Organizations control member onboarding, credit limits, account activation, fee policies, directory approval, and authorized team access. Organizations are responsible for their agreements with members and for complying with applicable barter, tax, consumer, gift-card, and financial-reporting requirements.

Trade records

Posted trade transactions create immutable double-entry records. Posted history is not edited or deleted. Corrections are made through linked balancing reversals by authorized users. Users must review trade details before confirming a posting.

Marketplace and communications

Marketplace information is provided by participating organizations and members. NexusBarter does not guarantee availability, quality, fulfillment, or suitability of an offering. Authenticated messages, evidence, disputes, and moderation activity may be retained in the shared operational timeline.

Fees and payment services

Organizations and NexusBarter may charge disclosed cash or trade fees. Third-party payment providers process supported card and bank transactions under their own terms. Failed or reversed payments may affect access to paid services.

Acceptable use

You may not bypass access controls, probe another tenant, upload malicious content, impersonate another person, manipulate ledger records, abuse invitations or messaging, or use the service to facilitate prohibited goods or unlawful activity.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, NexusBarter is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, member performance, or the value or tax treatment of a trade. Mandatory rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended for security risk, nonpayment, unlawful use, or material breach. Ledger, audit, payment, dispute, and compliance records may be retained after access ends where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
